Health & Safety

Fiery Phoenix Faces prides itself on it’s high standard of hygiene; new sponges are used for each client, water is changed frequently & all equipment washed thoroughly at the end of every working day.

Only professional face painting water based paint is used all of which are EU and FDA approved, contain anti bacterial & hypoallergenic properties & can easily be removed using mild baby shampoo or a very gentle soap & water although some staining can occur for a short while after removal depending on the paint used and the skin painted.

If you have any concerns as to how your skin may react Babs will perform a patch test prior to being painted.  We reserve the right to refuse to paint a person for any reason or something on a person that we consider offensive.

There are certain circumstances and situations where we will not be able to work on a particular child or adult for health and safety implications as it is important for us to maintain protection to our public. We hope that you will trust our judgment knowing that we wish to ensure the protection of each and every one of our customers and also our products.

Insurance & CRB

Fiery Phoenix Faces have Liability insurance up to 5 million pounds.

We do not however hold a CRB, which may seem unusual however please bear in mind that we will never be alone with a child, nor do we provide care services. Our artists are at events only to paint a child for approximately 5 minutes per child, with their carers in attendance, as such a CRB is unnecessary.

If your setting requires a CRB we are happy to complete a CRB check at your request, through your organisation, please contact us for more details.
